TFI Local Link Mayo rural transport services to continue as normal

TFI Local Link Mayo rural transport services will continue as normal apart services to schools and community centres that are now closed.  Please ensure that you pre book your seat as places are reduced in some areas as we adhere to social distancing and public health guidelines issued by the Chief Medical Officer and the HSE.

 

A number of TFI Local Link services are offering to deliver critical medical supplies to the elderly, the vulnerable and sick who live alone within rural areas during the coming weeks.   All drivers are Garda vetted and have undertaken relevant training in particular regarding supporting vulnerable adults.

 

Any individual in need of such support should contact TFI Local Link Mayo on 094 900 5150 or email mayo@locallink.ie between 9:00am and 5:00pm.

 

Areas covered by TFI Local Link Mayo include Blacksod, Belmullet, Rossport, Geesala, Ballycroy, Bangor Erris, Achill, Mulranny, Kilmeena, Islandeady, Glenisland, Newport, Westport, Louisbugh, Knockmore, Lahardane, Crossmolina, Ballycastle, Kilalla, Lacken, Ballina, Attymass, Foxford, Swinford, Killasser, Cross, Kilmaine, Ballinrobe, Ballyglass, Ballintubber, Ballyhaunis, Claremorris, Knock.

 

Many services run on a weekly basis only, however the staff and operators will make every effort to respond to requests that arise.
