National Parks and Wildlife Service in conjunction with the Ballycroy Community Centre are hosting Mayo Day celebrations at the Ballycroy Visitor Centre at the National Park – it is a day of free family friendly events including bird watching, guided walks, arts, crafts, family fun games, a mobile planetarium show (every 30 minutes) and the day concludes with a Ceili at 7:30pm.
Due to the huge interest in the event the groups have teamed up with TFI Local Link Mayo to provide additional transport from Belmullet and Castlebar to Ballycroy National Park.
